Eastside is a volunteer-based organization - eager to provide the best possible soccer experience for our community. Eastside relies on volunteers to help with the delivery of all team programming - each team requires volunteer team personnel to function.
To ensure teams have the best experience possible, each team requires a dedicated group of volunteer team personnel. The following are the minimum make up for team personnel on each team:

The U11+ player placements are scheduled to start Tuesday September 2nd. The schedule will be posted at the start of August.
*Please ensure athletes attend each of the scheduled times - this helps us tremendously in our efforts to form rosters as accurately as possible

U11 - U13 City League: October 17th
U7 - U9 Development League: October 17th
U11 - U13 Alliance League: October 17th
U15 - U19 Alliance League: November 1st
U15 - U19 City League: November 1st

U7 Future Stars (2019 - 2020)
Number of Typical Weekly Practices: 2
Projected Game Day: Sundays @ Henk Ruys Soccer Centre
Length: October - March - preseason training in September
Eastside’s U7 programs are aimed at fostering a close bond with the ball. The programs are designed to encourage players to be as CONFIDENT on the ball as possible, by developing positive on the ball habits. Our development league games will be delivered in small sided games formats (ie 3v3) to create the optimal game environment.
Teams will be formed with the aim of creating competitive balance and seeking to accommodate friend requests as best as possible.
*Please note that a guardian must be present at the sessions in the event that your child requires assistance
U9 Shooting Stars (2017 - 2018)

Length: October - March - preseason training in September
Eastside’s U9 programs are aimed at building on the individual confidence of each player, and developing their CREATIVITY on the ball. Our development league games will be delivered in small sided games formats (ie 5v5) to create the optimal game environment.
Teams will be formed with the aim of creating competitive balance and seeking to accommodate friend requests as best as possible.
Youth Programs (2007 - 2016)
Saskatoon Youth Soccer offers two different league structures for U11 - U19:
Alliance League and City Rec League (Boarded Hardcourt).
*U11 - U19 athletes can only register in one league structure at a time (ie you cannot be registered in Alliance & City Rec League (Boarded Hardcourt) simultaneously)
Alliance League is geared towards families interested in more commitment and a higher skill level, typically a) 4 events per week for Alliance League Premier; or b) 3 events per week for Alliance Div 2 & 3
City Rec League (Boarded Hardcourt) is geared towards families interested in trying the sport or taking part in a more relaxed environment, typically 1 game & no weekly practices

Alliance Div 2 & 3 - 1 league game, 1 team practice, and 1 club practice
Alliance Premier - 1 league game, 2 team practices, and 1 club practice
Length: October - March - preseason training in September
The Alliance League is designed for the committed and excelling player. Player placement sessions will be used to select players for the A and B leagues for each respective age group.
*Players selected to Eastside’s Alliance League teams are expected to maintain excellent attendance and commitment.
**Players selected to Eastside’s Alliance League Premier teams are expected to prioritize their Eastside commitments over non-SYS academy commitments should a scheduling conflict arise.
In divisions where Eastside has multiple teams, teams will be formed with the aim of creating competitive balance and seeking to accommodate friend requests as best as possible.
